"I can honestly say this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in for cleanliness. The bath was covered in black hairs and clearly hadn’t been cleaned, we ended up having to put a towel in the bath to shower because it was disgusting. There was black mold on the walls in the bathroom. The shower is either scolding hot or cold and will change mid shower which is unpleasant. There was what looked like wet tissue dried onto the ceiling and walls. The air con unit worked for about 20 minutes before it poured out a load of water straight onto the desk below so we couldn’t use it - 30 degree temperatures outside as well! Awful - wouldn’t stay here. The staff were helpful however."
"Nous avons adoré notre séjour à cet hôtel ! Le personnel est serviable et très gentil. Les chambres sont très minimalistes, ce qui fait qu'elles ne sont pas les plus confortables, mais c'était suffisant pour nos besoins. L'emplacement est également incroyable.
Seul bémol, le wifi fonctionne plus ou moins."
"Stayed one night in a deluxe room which was located in the converted attic space. Room was very large although quite dark with only a skylight with fixed curtain over and very dim lighting available. The shower worked well although leaked a little, the sink is located in the bedroom area not the bathroom and the furniture is sparse and dated. The flooring was painted concrete slabs. The bed was comfortable enough. Replacement bedding including quilt was piled on the side and no information was provided in the room i.e wi-fi password, breakfast info etc. It also at felt like the room had not been fully prepared for guests. The male staff member greeting on check-in was a little terse but the female staff member at breakfast and checkout was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite limited by menu choice but acceptable and pleasant enough.
The location itself is central to the main areas of Mons which are all easily walkable including all shops, restaurants and sights.
Overall the hotel served the purpose for a brief stay but would not like to stay in the allocated room for any longer period as was not a very relaxing space."
