"Perfect place to stay!!"

"Breakfast: not much protein. Only yellow frozen hard boiled eggs and not enough sausage gravy to smother the hard, dry biscuits. Parking was safe and good"

"What they don't tell you is parking at their hotel is $15.88/day in addition to the nightly charge + taxes. The mattress was not comfortable. The shower doors didn't close all the way and water leaked on the floor. We turned the tv off when we went to bed and couldn't get it to turn back on the next morning. Buffet was not good."

"The room was very clean and the bathroom cleaner. We had a nice view of the area and were within walking distance of everything a tourist could want or need. We were in town for a concert and were only 2 minutes from the venue. The staff was friendly and made us feel more than welcome. The hotel itself, while in a historic building, never felt "old". I would absolutely stay here again. "

"Great find! Adorably appointed room with updated bath and great linens. Clean, tidy, organized and friendly management with a great place for breakfast right next door!"

"Neat, clean, safe. We were able to book last minute during a cross country drive. Room had coffee maker and k-cups, bottled water, microwave. In addition to sending arrival information via email, a representative from the hotel called me to ensure we had our room number and door code. This extra step was greatly appreciated, especially as we were traveling and arriving late. Thank you!"

"We did a quick stay on the way to rapid city. We liked that it was in walking distance to necessities. The staff was friendly, rooms clean. Worth it for the price. "

"Above the main drag of town was perfect and very quiet. Nice stroll along the creek that runs behind it. Room was great as expected"

"Check-in process is always a process-shouldn’t take as long as it does. Had an issue with our toilet when we got to the room at end of night. Hadn’t been in room except to drop off bags. Was told by front desk they had no plungers or anything to help. Had to move to diff room…which equaled to total DIFFERENT building which the place is a maze so took forever to find the new room. New room was quite possibly the 1st room ever at the establishment & didn’t seem to have been rented out in the last...

"The staff was extremely accommodating. I learned Deadwood is not a very handicap accessible place but the hotel was except for the casino across the street. I would have to go outdoors to go to the next levels of the casino which to be fair. This is a historic town so I get that they don't want to alter it very much and the parking was across the street and you had to go around the parking lot and they don't like to shovel the sidewalks and Deadwood sidewalks are very icy which does happen in...

"Our stay was unfortunately cut short due to a family emergency. However, we absolutely loved the property. The refurbishing of the town hall was expertly done and very attractive. The bed was super comfortable (I believe the mattress was the same type as we have at home). If we ever make it to Lead in the future, we will be staying here. Also the partnership shared with the Stampmill restaurant made for convenient, friendly and delicious dinning! We loved it!"
