Hôtel à éviter ...

Je donne rarement mon avis sur un hôtel car je ne suis pas souvent déçu. Ici, je tiens à mettre en garde les clients potentiels des désagréments rencontrés : - douche froide le matin !!! 24-25 degrés Ma compagne a eu le même problème 10 min plus tôt. Impossible de prendre une douche !!! - pas de chauffage dans la chambre alors qu'on a passé une nuit froide d'octobre (6-7 degrés la nuit) - plus anecdotique, on ne capte ni du réseau Orange, ni Proximus dans le bâtiment Je fais part aimablement de mes désagréments au patron (surtout la douche). - dois-je parler de traînées brunes de calcaire dans des cuvettes de toilettes qui ont bien 30 ans d'âge ... Au moment de régler l'addition, je m'attendais à un geste commercial (seul le point de la douche a été évoqué - c'était réellement inadmissible de loger dans un hôtel sans pouvoir prendre une douche !!!). Rien du tout !! ... "Ça ne vaut pas une remise" dixit le patron !! Je pense même qu'on nous a pris pour des menteurs. Par ailleurs, même si ce qui est servi est excellent, je conseillerai à tous les bons mangeurs d'éviter le resto sous peine de devoir passer à la friterie du coin en sortant ... (40 euro par personne tout de même, sans entrée et avec 1 seul verre de vin blanc !) En résumé, à oublier sur bien des points ...

Accueil sympa - Établissement pour lequel on se pose des questions avant d'y entrer, puis dans le cheminement de son séjour on apprécie la gentillesse des '' Patrons '', la qualité de l'hébergement (literie + espace) j'ai occupé une suite. J'ai diner et pris mon petit déjeuner. J'estime qu' un tout petit effort devrait être fait la restauration. Mon plat n'était pas à la hauteur du prix facturé, néanmoins de bonne qualité, ceci n'engage que moi !!!

Would definitely return!

The perfectly restful getaway. Well off the main motorways, in a tiny town tucked into the Ardennes with lots of walking and biking options. We used it as a base for car tripping thru the history of the World Wars-- armed with picnic lunches packed for us by our hosts Anja and Geert, who kept us comfortable and well fed from breakfast thru dinner to a nightcap. Country charm and hospitality, much appreciated. A great bargain.

Pleasant surprise in a rural village

Nice place to stay. Easy to walk and enjoy the rural location. Excellent breakfast with homemade croissants. Very narrow stairway and no elevator. Nice patio out front.

Sehr schönes Hotel, einsam gelegen, daher waren wir in der Nacht die einzigen Gäste, sehr gutes Abendessen a la carte und tolles reichliches Frühstück

Relaxing visit

This is a great hide away. We spent 5 days in early June. The owners are fantastic. The hotel is very unique and the hamlet it is located in is very quiet. We traveled around southern Belgium from this location with ease. The stay was extremely relaxing. The food is outstanding. Much better to stay here than Dinant, Namur, Bastogne, Liege, or Luxembourg if you are looking for relaxation as well as sight seeing.
