"Everyone was friendly the breakfast and staff were great"

"One of the better chain hotels we've stayed in. My husband finds it hard to sleep and he had the best night's sleep in years. The bathroom was a bit small but the bench space is big and so was the room. The staff were also very friendly. Highly recommended."

"This is a newer hotel so I feel that all staff and amenities are very pleasing. The stay was comfortable, everything was clean & the hotel staff is friendly. To my knowledge, there are only two chain hotels located directly in Crown Point. All other hotels are in Merrillville - the neighboring city. Towne Place is directly across from everything that seems to be of convenience; restaurants, gas, groceries, & U. Of Chicago extension hospital..."

"Pulling into the motel the roof looked a mess and when my husband went in to register the lobby smelled awful and the chairs were torn and dirty. We contacted Expedia and they called the manager who refused to let them can the reservation. The room was ok, nice bed and tv. Bathroom needed work/repairs."

"Hotel was pretty decent the pool was a little bit dirty the staff said it because it was a lot of kids in the pool but they went right along and cleaned the pool but overall the hotel was pretty clean"

"Stay here if you want to hear intimate moments of your neighbors waking you through the night. I'm not a prude. The walls and doors are paper thin. Dirty entry to building.Dirty halls, Dirty room. Moldy shower. Yellow gunk, hair and God knows what else thriving behind the bathroom door. The elevator cried with every move, beat up, wallpaper ripped, chunks of paint knocked off the sad walls. The whole place smelled like dog pee. This needs torn down or shut down and sanitized and rebuilt. Gross."

"Hotel room was extremely dated it look like they bought all the furniture from a thrift store the couch and desk chair was made of leather and it was peeling real bad and the bed was made cheaply only reason I couldn’t leave cause all the other hotels were booked"

"This hotel has a lot of potential, but my stay was unfortunately disappointing. The toilet didn't flush, the air conditioner was so weak that it did not cool the room, and the bed frame had a metal spike sticking out that actually took a chunk of skin off my leg. What frustrated me most was that the staff already knew about these issues. The front desk explained that they are actively replacing the air conditioners and have already started changing some of the bed frames because of similar...

"If I had to assign a number between 1 and 10, I'd give it a 9. Room was very clean, quite large (although that didn't really matter since we weren't in the room all that much) but most importantly, the shower was great! Oftentimes, the shower in a hotel is a letdown and leaves me feeling a bit unsatisfied, but the showers at this particular location were fantastic."
