"We booked a suite with a fireplace and jetted tub for the night. At first impressions the room seemed nice, but the fireplace didn’t work and the hot water heater must have been undersized because there wasn’t even enough hot water to fill the tub to make the temperature warmer than Luke warm. Another odd thing is that the suites are detached from the main hotel so you have to go outside to go from your room to get breakfast or to use the other amenities. It wouldn’t be a big deal but Iowa in March the weather is pretty cold in the morning. The breakfast was nice and so was the staff. "

"Affordable but a little old in terms of furnitures, equipments. Bed is small as well as the pillows. Bathroom old as well. Takes forever for water to drain. Above all, staffs are welcoming and nice"

"Not advised of ongoing construction. Dust and workers everywhere. Pool and Hottub closed. Throwing furniture out of an upper window. I took a chance that at least my room would be quiet. It was not. I checked out shortly after arrival. I was only refunded my 2nd and 3rd night. They kept my first nights payment. UNBELIEVABLE. At a Marriott!!!"
