Unexpected pleasure

Just had a beautiful relaxing time by the fire and loved the grounds. We were lucky to be alone on this occasion and we enjoyed the spa and eggs from the chooks ))

Great country mountains getaway

Great space out in the mountains. Quiet, secluded, great host, beautiful location and comfortable room/amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

As it happened we were the only guests, so we had the whole lodge to ourselves, cooked up a storm and played at the pool table. My toddler loves the farm animals. There is very little visible service though. They call it a bed and breakfast, but they supply the bacon eggs sausages bread cereal etc, you cook it yourselves. Some might not like that. We didn't mind it at all. Also, bring your own shower gel and shampoo etc. they only supply basic soap.

The family room was way too small for comfort. It's basically a typically double room size, squeezing a bunk bed to call it family room. we have problem finding space to open up our luggage. The web says breakfast included. But failed to mentioned has to be self cooked. We are expected to cook our bacon, sausages & eggs. That by itself is not a big problem. The problem starts when we have to do our cooking in communal kitchen. During our stay, only one third of the rooms were taken. We had to wait for an hour for the other parties to finish cooking their meals. Can't imagine using the kitchen if all the rooms are booked. These info should be made known to people looking at booking the rooms.

This place is good for family to spend their time for family bonding. My family love it especially my grand son who had chance to feed the chicken, horse, collect egg, etc which is not available in my country

A beautiful place, you could not help but be relaxed from the moment you arrived, my 4 n 5 year olds did not want to leave, they loved loved feeding the animals n canoeing in the dam Will definitely be going back

Family stay

Nice two night stay with two kids age 3 and 5. Room clean and comfortable enough. Living and kitchen areas maintained to high standard and clean. Staff on site for only minimal hours, owner was away, but no detriment to lodge as everything important was well-explained with signs. Would have been nice to have the owner around to explain the place a bit more and answer any questions. Kids happy to roam around and play with other families.

Lovely country stay

Whilst I did enjoy this stat overall, it was a little disjointed in my opinion. I collected the key and we made our way to the room which was very basic but comfortable. I actually thought the owner was onsite and cooked out breakfasts, this was not the case. Whilst I don't mind cooking my own breakfast etc, I was told by other inhouse guests to ensure that I cleaned up thoroughly before we left so as not to get charged a cleaning fee. Whilst I respect that I would not leave a mess, I also think that by paying a fairly nightly rate that I could atleast get my dishes put away on checkout day as well as wipe up any crumbs that were left. Along with the other inhouse guests we overhauled the kitchen to ensure we kept it clean but I do think that on checkout day when the cleaners come in surely they would do this anyway for the next guests. My kids loved the animals, I did feel that there should be more hands on with the animals being a farm stay, that said Toby the dog is always after a cuddle. He is beautiful.. It definitely is a lovely place to stay for a complete getaway

A comfortable Lodge in the Australian bush.

Surprisingly no staff were present, but they had prepared everything so well we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
