Attentive hosts, good location only 15mins walk from the centre of Solihull, large private bathroom, blackout blinds, reliable fast WiFi signal. Only -ve, through no fault of the hosts, was that I was a bit too tall for the single bed.

One night stay

Lovely small and friendly b&b that I would recommend to stay at. Just be careful when booking using an a online booking service because it will state a twin room is available but in reality you will get a double!

Muy buena atencion y comodidad de la Habitacion

Excelente Estadia con la Familia de la casa, me trataron muy cálidamente, tuve una pequeña aventura al llegar y tuve que esperera 2 horas durmiendo en el Porche de la casa pero fuera de eso todo excelente y 100% recomendable.

Warm Welcome in Birmingham.

Quiet, comfortable, easy off-street parking for a one night business stay. Conveniently 15 minutes from Birmingham Int'l. Hosts were a very charming and accommodating couple. Enjoyed a cup of tea on arrival after a long trip.

Solihull wonder.

Such a friendly hotel. Lovely owners who went that extra mile to ensure a first class stay. My son was ill during the night and the following day, it was no problem for the owners and they fully understood. The breakfast and service was top class. If your staying close to Solihull, I would highly recommend this wonderful B & B.

New B&B, with great potential, quiet near Airport

Hartelijke en vriendelijke eigenaren, prima luxe kamer met wat onvolkomenheden. Ze zijn net begonnen en missen nog wat inlevingsvermogen in wat klanten prettig vinden maar dat komt vast en zeker goed. Prima rustig verblijf als je iets dicht bij het vliegveld zoekt en ook dichtbij winkels.

An easy stay in a wonderful Solihull B&B

Eunice and Steve are running a lovely B&B in Solihull, West Midlands UK. I stayed for 4 nights and found it very easy to get around with public transit to both the NEC/Birmingham Intl Airport (by bus ~ 20min) and Birmingham Central city (about 12min by train) and a 10min walk to the B&B. It is a 15min walk to the town of Solihull where there is a large Mall with lots of shops and restaurants. The accommodations were everything one would expect from a professionally run B&B. The daily full English Breakfast was delicious. I give them high marks because they earn it!

Perfekt om du vill komma bort lite. Gångavstånd från busshållplatsen och väldigt trevlig personal. Frukosten var klassiskt hemlagad och det fanns inget att klaga på.

Very Friendly

This guest house - although difficult to find from the road - was an excellent choice. The owners were very helpful, made us a cup of tea/coffee upon arrival, allowed me to use their kitchen to have breakfast on a very early start (04:30am). A list of take-away's with phone numbers was left in the room and the internet connection password was also made available. We were looking for new build properties in the area and the owners were very helpful giving information on the areas we were looking at. Whenever we are in the area we will endeavour to stay at this guest house.

Would definitely return

I have been in all kinds of hotel in the kind of job I am in I travel the country a lot and this has to of been my favourite, the fact that this is a B&B should not put people off, the personal service you get for this being a B&B is much better than you would ever get in a hotel! Next time I am in the area this will most definitely be my first choice!

Home from home with hotel touches!

Far better than many a stay in an expensive hotel. I was welcomed and treated with friendliness and genuine warmth. the room was spacious, spotless and well equipped with a power shower to die for! It is within an easy walk of the railway station and the town centre. It was an oasis of calm after my frenetic life in London and I really could not fault it in any way.;

Nicest people ever

The owner Steve and his family went out of the way to prepare an alternate accomodation for the night, where hotels.com systems had overbooked their B&B. The family worked late into the evening to clean and prepare the alternate accomodation that had not been in commission for a while. They even drove me to the place and back in the morning for a sumptuous breakfast. Even though the website had made the error, they called up to sort out things on my behalf using their own phone. I had an important call with an overseas client that night, and they made sure that I was safe and comfortable in my alternate accomodation, to be able to take the call. This B&B is located right next to Solihull Town centre and this makes it especially useful for people with business or leisure plans in the area.

'Full English'

Broad Oaks is in a very quiet residential road in Solihul, however, we found it a little tricky to find as house numbers were not obvious to see and there were no B&B signs outside. That aside, we were made to feel extremely welcome from the start, and our room which was a family room was very comfortable and clean. On arrival there were sweets and bottled water, alongside tea/coffee & biscuits in the room with a television and en-suite bathroom. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast including cereals, toast, breads, juices. We were given a 'Full English' breakfast too, however, I would have preferred to have been asked if I wanted this first. Overall I would recommend this B&B for its comfort and friendliness.
