At booking time I pressed on the wrong date and did not realise. I needed an accessible hotel room on the same day and I had chosen the next day. Even though I phoned minutes after booking I was told nothing could be done to help me change the date. We are not impressed with Expedia, who tried to phone the hotel but could not get an answer (even though I had phoned and spoken to the hotel before Expedia tried) or IHG who would not accept a mistake had been made in the booking form and help us. Will try to stop friends and family using Expedia or IHG as there was no help for us at all. IHG said if we hadn’t booked through Expedia they would have been able to accommodate us!! A definite warning NOT to use Expedia.

We found it very clean & the room had everything we required. Staff were lovely and to have breakfast included at such a reasonable price was amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel in a good position. Only downside was the difficulty driving to the hotel (but the hotel is not responsible for the extensive roadworks) and the lack of pedestrian walkways from the car park to reception. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Spent two nights here for UK games expo. Understandably the prices were higher than usual because of this. However, the hotel is not in a condition that it should be charging £250 per night even when there is high demand. The hotel entrance, lobby and dining area were fine and clean. However, the hallways and bedroom were shabby. Lots of chipping paint and sloppy cover ups. Bathroom could’ve used some attention and updating too. Too shabby for even a three star hotel. Room was a decent size. Location is a bit awkward for the NEC and Resorts world and not very walkable due to the road designs nearby. Would take 35 minutes to walk so best to drive. Parking being an additional cost is a bit rubbish but liveable since you’re told in advance. On our second night, we got stuck in an elevator which broke down. The staff were panicky and although trying their best to be helpful were clearly poorly trained for the situation, making it quite stressful (particularly as I was 6 months pregnant also). We were told that they could not call fire service and had to wait on their engineer. Despite it being an emergency, we had to wait over an hour for said engineer to arrive. Thankfully we had WiFi in the elevator but no other phone signal. We were offered a refund for that night at least but again, it was clear there was poor training around this.

Very disappointment with this hotel one as I thought Parking was include in total price but its not its £12 for 24hrs also Parking is not safe as the car not far from mine was broken in too and items was stolen also check out was at 11am and by 10.45 the maids was out side my door I told them not to go in and put sign on door letting her know I be back in a min for my other bits so please dont go in she ignore me and went in as sign was move I asked her why she would do this after I said DO NOT GO IN MY ROOM YET she didn't have a clue what I was saying so when I did check out I mention it to staff and was told sorry I will have a word and that was it didn't really seem that bother wont be going back
