"It good location"

"Room was average outdated tv compared to the other double room. Had to ask for tea bags ect the next day as they didn't do turn down of the rooms. Internet went down for the stay so wifi wasnt working "

"Stayed for 2 nights (wish was longer) Was greeted by Hannah, very friendly. She took me to my annexe. Beautiful spotless, cozy place. Didn't want to get out of bed every morning. Slept better than have in weeks. Good was delicious and hot Chicken Pate, chibbatta, salad Hunters chicken, French fries 10oz Gammon, French fries Chocolate Fudge Cake Pub staff were friendly and attentive Serve your own breakfast Lots of choice Met another lovely lady as I was leaving, sorry didn't get her name A thoroughly enjoyable stay, would have liked to stay in pub bit longer, had made arrangements Fabulous, good, staff, everything Perfect"

"Parking is a bit of a squeeze but we did get a space although there is ample, easier parking at the library close by. We didn’t stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that. Initial receptionist (Easter Sunday) was okay but the receptionist on Easter Monday was friendly, informative and quite lovely which Sunday reception could maybe take a leaf from. Room was so airy, quiet and big so it was a shame to not have twin beds for our teens (who are big) and had to share a small sofa bed, in comparison mine and my husband’s bed was comfortable and big, very nice but felt a bit guilty. Luckily there was a little window area so my youngest son took over that area, pulling the net curtain to while my older son sat on the bed. Hotel exterior is so stunning and location is absolutely fabulous. I will return."

"Lovely old building but well maintained and set in picturesque garden. I can why it was a popular venue for weddings. Had a lovely massage and can't thank Poppy enough as very attentive and you could see she enjoyed her wirk 🙏❤️"

"Very bad experience: - Major building works blocking the main entrance - Paint and carpet work on my floor - Strong paint fumes affecting my asthma - Spa/Jacuzzi closed without prior notice and dust everywhere - Lift access not working properly - Accessibility barriers despite my visual impairment being noted on the booking - Very rude, unhelpful and unsympathetic reception staff"
