"Can’t praise the staff here enough . Very friendly and considerate. Arrived early so had some lunch before check in and food menu caters for all. Breakfast was equally delicious. I would definitely return here with future trips to the area. Well done everyone 🤗"

"Genuinely friendly welcome and a very comfortable, clean room - all of which I needed after a long, hard day on the Pennine Way. Arrived too late to eat in the evening but breakfast was terrific. Would thoroughly recommend the Alma. "

"Gorgeous stay. The staff were exceptional nothing was too much trouble. They are a real credit to the management. I attended to go to Yarndale in addition to celebrating my friends birthday. The restaurant was lovely with lots of choice including specials and with a prompt courteous service and a great ambiance. Will definitely be back when the log fire gets lit. Highly recommend for a lovely get away "
