"Lovely little hotel based on a farm, in a very quiet area. The room itself looked like a older more traditional style room with a lot of wood based furniture, the shower room was more modern and honestly puts some mainstream hotels to shame, excellent shower and the water pressure was amazing. The walls were relatively soundproof, you can faintly hear someone watching tv in the other room if you really concentrated, so all good there. "We both really loved this property despite having no lift1 The owner is a lovely man and brought a boottle opener from home to lend us. The breakfast was exceptional. I had OD'd on full English breakfasts for this year so the wonderful cut fresh fruit, yogurt with compote and crumpets were a great change. I really looked forward to breakfast each day! "Delicious breakfast. Owners friendly and welcoming. Gorgeous view of the Lancashire countryside from our window. Room clean and spacious. Proper power shower in the bathroom. We were only able to stay one night (this time) but it was pretty much perfect. 10/10"

"I have traveled more than 30 countries and more than 500 hotels and most of them are 5-star hotels. For the first time, I stayed in a place that didn't feel like a hotel, and it wasn't fun at all. There was only a calm and leisurely space, and an indescribable beauty.
