This odd protrusion on this Elm leaf is caused by a tiny mite called Eriophyes ulmi. The damage is mostly aesthetic and the tree will carry on.
A fungus that escapes my identification skills at the moment, but resembles translucent chewed bubblegum.
This creepy fungus that looks like zombie fingers clawing up from the grave is called Carbon Antlers (Xylaria hypoxylon).
