Nice little B & B

Nice little guest house, room was as I expected, owner was very helpful, breakfast excellent, I will definitely stop here again.

The hotel was clean but the rooms where cold and the heating came on at 8 o’clock at night I had food stuck on the wall but the staff was helpful and nice but will not be stopping there again and there was no where to park the car if we had gone in the car park it was £13 a day

Perfect host

The best thing about our stay was the host Marisa, what a lovely lady, I had a sixteen seat minibus and couldn’t find parking so she jumped in and took me to her friends place to let me park for the night. Thanks Marisa

Great location with a very warm welcome

Perfect for a quick stopover to visit Blackpool Tower, booked two ensuite rooms, both were clean and comfortable and extra heaters had been provided which were welcome on a cold February night. Good contact in advance to sort out directions, requirements etc. and waiting for us on arrival - we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast, freshly cooked to order too - thank you!

Little gem!

The most lovely couple I have met whilst away, felt so welcome and comfortable especially as I went on my own. Brilliant location and tho my room was little, it had all I needed and was lovely and quiet too. Shall go back in November!

Nice weekend retreat

Excellent location for access to the tower, trams and nightlife. Everyone was very helpful and happy to store my special milk in the fridge for breakfast. Shower was a bit of a trickle and difficult to get the temperature right; the bed was a bit soft and no heating in the room but it wasn't that cold and we were hardly there. Overall it was very nice and absolutely fine for a weekend away.

Three stars well rewarded

In the middle of "festival time" in Edinburgh is not a good time to go looking for accommodation, however, the Ritz filled a need very well for us. Not the most fancy hotel but service and attention to needs were very good. Location to the trains, trams and buses in the Haymarket ensure great transport support. Restaurants in the area are plentiful and good so overall The Ritz was a good stay. One warning for though a little older than most, ask for a lower level floor room as there are no lift facilities

we had a excellent stay at willow grove the owners was really pleasant we could not have asked for better service it was a lovely hotel and family friendly we will recommend this hotel to everyone we know and we will defiantly be going back

The Willow Grove is a typical small Blackpool hotel that allows you to come and go as you please with a basic breakfast if you wish. Good value for where it is situated. My only gripe was that they only supply a bath towel, no hand towels, why?

The hotel was freezing did not put any heating on till tea time. Bed was so uncomfortable and rooms are tiny struggled to walk past each other in room.It also said when i booked free parking when we got there they said it should not say that so we were about to go looking for parking and the owner said to park it over the road for free.In general the couple were nice but the stay was awful but hey it is Blackpool

Excellent

A small but very well run hotel in a very convenient location - moments away from some of the main attractions in Blackpool - but ideally tucked in a residential street (and therefore shielded from the noise and bright lights). The owners (Harry and Joyce) bend over backwards to make you feel welcome, and maintain the facilities and rooms expertly. We felt very safe and secure here and our room was neat, tidy and clean. Breakfast was made-to-order in a traditional dining room, and the opportunity to converse with our gracious hosts in the old-fashioned style of a guest house - rather than the rather robotic modern day "check-in/check-out/say nothing" - is something I value. It was a classic seaside hotel experience and I would happily recommend the Willow Grove to all.

Online a kid is under 18, when arrived i was asked where are the kids, my girls are 11 and 17, Room was a decent size, sink dated and 'hot' tap leaked, i say hot but had to leave it running a while, shower lots of scum in corners, and shower head, shower i couldnt get to the right temp, daughter did, then temp went freezing while i was under, beds were 1 to soft, 1 to springy, toilet door was a fold up, but if someone in bedroom they could see through Breakfast was good, but they mithered you while eating, prob trying to make sure everything was ok. Didnt like the fact they went up emptying bins while we ate breakfast and we had left handbags upstairs, book last min, but id say it was a make do for a cheap deal £152 for 1 adult 2 kids. B n b for 29th to 31 august.. Wouldnt stay again though.first time bn b but guess you get what you pay for

Great location fantastic service

My partner and myself found the Willow Grove Hotel to be an excellent choice for location. The owners Harry and Joyce were wonderful they couldn't do enough for you to make your stay pleasant. Thoroughly lovely welcoming couple second time we have been and hope to go again soon,rooms and service excellent.

Good choice

Easy to find and convenient central location. Close to car park and attractions but fairly quiet road . Room was small but clean and breakfast was good. Joice and Harry were very helpful hosts and my wife and I were both happy with the choice of hotel for our short visit.
