"The staff were very helpful and kind. The property was part of a farm so there was an unpleasant smell of manure. The room was small and very hot. It would have been useful to have had a fan in the room."

"This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. To top off the delicious food, the chef himself came out to introduce himself afterwards so we were able to learn about where all those ingredients came from (all local and totally fresh). "Brilliant place to stay, warm welcome on arrival and friendly people. The room was cosy and very clean, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was served hot, unlike most places, and one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! Would definitely recommend staying here, look forward to going back there soon. 11/10"

"The room was clean and tidy however it was unbearably hot due to a lack of air con and alrhough a fan was provided it could not deal with the heat in the room. There was no fridge to keep water cold and milk from going off, . In the bathroom the toilet seat was really loose and the sink is so tiny it was impossible to have a wash. "Despite a long walk and a few staircases to climb the room was lovely. Clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The cooked breakfast was very tasty, hot and well presented. Situated very close to the town. Would definitely return."
