We were met by the owner Steve,He made us very welcome from the start. The Hotel was absolutely spotless and nicely decorated. The room had everything that you expect from a luxury Hotel All I can say is well done Steve a really nice stay .Oh and breakfast was brill

Magnificent

Glenshieling House is an excellent place to stay. Steve and John are superb hosts and nothing was too much bother for them. The house is spotless and our bedroom had everything that was needed to make our stay more than comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and slept well both nights of our stay. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice on the menu and set you up for the day. I would definitely recommend Glenshieling House to anyone looking for a great, relaxing break away.

The hotel is amazing! What a beautiful place to stay. The grounds are fantastic and are a pleasant walk. The hotel is only a minute from brilliant riverside walks too.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at this gem of property. The service was 1st class, the attention to detail was brilliant and the breakfasts were fantastic. It felt more like an extended house party with friends such was the warmth of the welcome. We have already recommended this property to friends and colleagues and will be booking again.

When we arrived at Glenshieling House we were given a warm welcome and made to feel at home. Our room was excellent - luxurious bed linen , great bedside lighting, a tea tray with decent sized cups and quality teas and coffee . The dining room , and bar and all public areas were decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was a delight - the best omelette !

Great experience

The best B&B we have stayed in for years. We had a memorable stay and can’t wait to return. The owners really care about their guests and making sure that they enjoy their stay. The facilities are excellent, the food fantastic and the ambiance is both quirky and tasteful. Highly recommended.
