"Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. It’s remote. We were okay with this, but if you’re expecting to be close to anything it’s not. We would have liked another pillow for the bed, and a hairdryer for our bathroom. The owners, and or, staff were polite but rarely seen. We had dinner one night with them. It might have been really good but it was warm at best."

"Nice quiet room with comfy double bed. Shower and bath were both good once I'd worked out which knobs to turn. Great breakfast with a good choice of hot and cold items. The lady on reception was very pleasant."

"This was one of our most favorite stays during our travels along Iceland's Ring Road. The location is a bit remote, so be aware when planning for food or other things to do. We used this location simply based on our itinerary, but we're so glad we did! The cottages were extremely clean, well-furnished, had everything we needed...and the views were stunning waking up with a relaxing coffee staring off at the amazing landscape. The hosts were very detailed with check-in, check out and anything you needed to know about the cottage. We'd definitely recommend this stop if you've got the opportunity!!"

"We enjoyed our stay here in June 2026. The apartment was a good size and well equipped. The views were lovely and it was very quiet. A couple of days before our check in day we received a message from the host with some very helpful information about things to do and see in the area which was much appreciated. The message said that they would send us check in instructions on our arrival day but unfortunately this didn't happen which left us wondering if there was a problem with our booking, I did message the host to ask about this but didn't receive a reply before we arrived at the property. The host was there when we arrived so it worked out ok in the end but it would have been a much better experience if we had either received the details that were promised or if the message they sent us had told us to just turn up at the property."

"Amazing views. This place is about 15 minutes from Blonduos. Although they do serve breakfast here, there is NO dining option. You have e to go to town for food."
