"I booked a non-refundable stay. Did not know the hotel was under renovation. The carpets, stairwells and wall paper, on my floor were being changed over. I do agree the hotel was way overdue for some improvements. The problem is, how can you expect people to pay full price for a stay under these conditions? When we arrived, The place smelled like a marijuana dispensary. Actually smelled like a marijuana and glue mixture which is very unsanitary to breathe in for 5 plus days , We have stayed there three times over the last three years. The hot tub has never been repaired or usable. Getting any kind of daily restock for towels, coffee, toilet paper, trash bags etc... only happens if you call the front desk and ask. When you do you are expected to return to the lobby to retrieve the items needed. I will not be returning to this hotel on the next visit. I will also not be using Hotels.com again. They should have been aware of the renovations taking place as well as the broken down hot tub. I should have checked Trivago."
