"Fabulous location however parking outside is now charged separately and the local car parks are quite expensive. Hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment which makes keeping things in order a little difficult The staff were great"

"I cant say enough good things about the Maldron experience. I arrived with no luggage and the staff went out of their way to help me get settled and feeling at home. They guided me to all the shops I needed to find to get clothes and adapters and provided a welcoming greeting every time I returned from my adventures. The hotel has some of the best food in Newcastle and the staff might be made up of the friendliest people in England. Cheers to all the staff at the Maldron especially David and Suzanne who made me feel so welcomed. I now have a home away from home and honestly feel like I found my people.Thank you so much my Maldron Family. You are the very best at what you do and I cant wait to visit again and experience The Maldron. Bye for now. Kent sends."

"Rooms are dark and mone had no view. Had to keep curtains closed as no pricaey - lacked nets of other Motel Ones. Also poor pillows again lacking Motel One cushions. Staff are friendly and helpful and hotel well placed for station, Eldon Square and shopping/ restaurants"

"Online says soundproof rooms cant be if you can hear the night club from the 5th floor also there is a washing in the 5 floor as was going off early then 7am. Room needs a good clean dust on paintings in room and light fittings. Staff checking in were awesome, security trued telling me in a night time that was only my name in the room but I was the one the wrote the names but was quickly sorted. Didn't get much sleep come out the room next dat and next door had McDonald's all over the hallway didnt stay for breakfast just wanted leave so left first thing"
