Starting from the greetings for my birthday with chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine, ending with dinners and amazing ocean view that is there from the terrace. But some nights we just didn’t want to leave, so stayed for the dinner in the hotel restaurant, which is amazing with great...
"Fabulous location, friendly staff, great breakfast, very clean. Would have preferred 2nd floor room as lots of people continuously walking past our balcony."
"Excellent hosts at this magnificent old-school hotel. The views are stunning, and the interior of the hotel is warm and welcoming. GPS directions don’t work so well, so just follow the blue signs up from the center of Ponta do Sol"
"Very interesting historical museum hotel. The hotel is well maintained for its age, felt like going back in time a bit. Our group was impressed by how well-kept and clean it is, everything was sparkling clean."
"Overall we had a great stay at the Estalagem do Mar. The staff was very friendly and helpful with last minute accommodations and present to help with any other needs. It was a 3 minute walk away from a little downtown area with restaurants, a convenience store, gift shop, and little stands that are open on the weekends. Would stay here again if we visit Madeira island again! Free parking on the facility was also a huge plus for us! "
