Pleasant motel-style property with unusually modern decor for Tasmania. Beautifully situated on the river but the cars parked in front of the rooms obstruct the views. Effective mirror finish on the floor to ceiling windows mean passersby cannot see in

Quiet, relaxing and very comfortable.

We stayed for one night, as a stopover. The design and style was a pleasant surprise, unique and a great use of disused shipping containers. The pod is also very spacious and thoughtfully laid out, maximising both space and light. The views and setting are very relaxing, on the river. The town of Wynyard itself has little of interest; there are a few good cafes (much better than the breakfast on offer at the adjacent motel), but not much else.

When we arrived and saw the hotel from outside, my heart sank. I thought we had made a huge mistake, it looked like a tatty seaside place. However, when we saw our room, we were amazed! It was very spacious and newly refurbished to a very high standard. It was also absolutely immaculate. A really good continental breakfast was delivered to the room, fresh fruit, cereal and toast.

Great room, very spacious. Super clean. Very comfy bed. Off road parking. 5 min walk to town.

Been there before, staying in a van with an extension, nostalgic as reminds me of childhood! A lovely friendly site, mainly camping, calm,wooded & on a nice creek right near the beach.

The property was easy to find and close to the sea. Facilities were satisfactory but a bit dated and therefore in need of an update, which would improve the experience. Value for money.

The only complaint we had was with the bed head boards. I felt there was a safety issue with them if you needed more than 1 pillow. Was impossible to sit up and read or anything else that required sitting up in bed.
