I had a wonderful fun 3 days here .Dan and Brian are great hosts , with Dan being an exceptional chef . I highly recommend having there evening meal even though it’s served a little late for me it was worth it .The lodge is very clean and my room was huge with an upstairs bedroom and bathroom ,stairs are steep ! As the lodge is all wood the down stairs was dark with a small balcony so not really used! Yoga mats provided for self practice. I loved the location with a little walk up to the lodge...

Exceptional customer service - friendly and professional

We really enjoyed our stay; I think it's one of the best hotels in Bocas del Toro. Why? It's just a 10-minute walk from the airport. It is 100% clean. Friendly and helpful staff. The air-conditioning in the room works perfectly well. Boats to go to other islands/trip are next to the hotel and some can pick/drop you up at the back of the hotel. Nice restaurant, comfort and views. Then, across the street, there is a very cheap restaurant to have breakfast or something cheaper to eat. Shops nearby...

This was our favourite stop on our 3 week trip. This property is a piece of paradise. The bungalow over the water was amazing - clean and spacious! The breakfast was wonderful and the lunch and dinner options were also amazing. We loved the nature trail and we made good use of the paddle boards on offer. I loved the privacy and peaceful nature of Akwaba lodge. Natali and family were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was superb! Really enjoyed spending my 30th here. They left me a little birthday gift which was a lovely. It was really clean and comfortable. We even got to go kayaking and paddle boarding with no extra charge! I would stay here again. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Wonderful staff who go above and beyond

Amazing stay! Firstly, perfect location, literally 6 min walk from the airport. It is located by the sea with a nice deck to sunbathe and jump to the water for a swim. There’s also a space for the boats to stop by for all excursions you book or if you want to take a water taxi somewhere, so no need to even walk to any port (you would be located right in Bocas with loads of restaurant/cafe options around within minutes of walking). Honestly one of the most stunning destinations I’ve ever visited. It is so incredibly peaceful and the sunrises are unbeatable. The cabins aren’t incredibly up to date but it isn’t necessary in my opinion, the look is very charming. There is no electric sockets in the cabins but you can charge any devices in the restaurant/bar area anytime you like. The free snorkel equipment and kayaks are great too!

Wonderful place for wildlife spotting and red frogs! Comfortable room, super helpful staff. Beach is lovely although sea was rough. Quiet, good food, very laid back.You do need to walk through the jungle to get there, good path!

We really enjoyed our short stay (3 nights) at Swan's Cay. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool was great, just steps away from our room and the water was the perfect temperature. Staff were helpful and friendly. The only thing that was not great was the dog tied up next to a house behind the hotel that barked every afternoon/evening, but not much the hotel can do about that.

Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is right on the water. It is on a smaller, more secluded island, which is only a 2 minute boat taxi from the main island. The hosts were attentive, they helped us book day tours around the different islands. The food served at the restaurant was delicious and well worth eating there. The hotel is secluded and has only four rooms, so is perfect for a nice relaxing holiday. The food was fresh and delicious and the owner was very friendly and helpful.
