"In the pictures, this hotel seemed better than average and in a good area. However, it was not sanitary and the staff was not the best. The room we got had a very dirty bathroom/tub and I would question the cleanliness of the bed sheets. Also, VERY noisey. Walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING adn EVERYONE. During our stay, we decided to shower in the morning and the water would not go down the drain in the tub. I called to have maintainance come fix it and he came to the room quickly, but the man knocked once and let himself in with a key! He didnt even wait for me to get the door. I felt so weird because it was me and my daughter in the room! The gentlemen didnt speak english well and spent 20 minutes trying to fix the drain and didnt fix it. After that, we couldnt shower the rest of our stay because the when someone would shower in the next room our tub would fill up with water and debris. I will not be staying here again. The price was great, but now i get why it was so cheap. I have attached pictures."

"Overall it is a very nice hotel. We only wish they would publish the fare for cruiseport transport. The last time we stayed there it was included. The employees are very helpful which is why we booked this hotel a second time. Appreciate the covered parking."

"We were there a week. Staff rude. Breakfast periodically ran out of milk, cereal. Room comfortable and clean. Location 10 minutes walk to beach. They wanted to charge us $10 per day parking on arrival because we booked room through Expedia. Would not stay there again because of rude staff."

"We stayed here during our Disneyland trip this past week and overall enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, had no weird smells, the facility was quiet at night, the amenities were solid and we especially loved the bathroom being so polished and having enough hot water for all of us to shower off the day, without any problems. As that isn't always the case at some places we have stayed. I will also mention that the quilt on one of the beds had a few small stains on it, yet it didn't bother us, because they smelled clean and there were no signs of any other part of the bed being dirty. In addition we especially loved that breakfast was served daily. It made our mornings so much easier when it came to planning. Check in and checkout were both quick and easy, the staff was friendly and we felt safe throughout our stay, which is always a big plus. For now I am giving it 5 stars; My only pending item is the $200 refundable deposit. I did see a note at check-in, mentioning something about how it can take a few business days to be returned, but we checked out on Wednesday and there still has been no sign of it. I am giving it a week before following up, if needed. I live on a tightrope budget and really need that back. Hoping for the best and the process goes as smoothly as our stay. "

"I was surprised by the $150 security deposit, but it is worth it as long as it is not charged against me. Overall, Hotel 39 exceeded my expectations by a great degree. I will book with them in the future. "
