"This is my second time staying at this beautiful property. I love the Tranquility room, it is spacious, comfortable and on the first level, with direct access to the great deck overlooking their great views. We love that is pet friendly, their kitchen is very well stocked with them providing coffee, creamer, eggs and toast (for you to make, there is no staff at property) for guest use. My biggest and only complaint is the a/c unit, they have an old school window unit and sure wish they would upgrade to a mini split, current unit is quite loud and right by bed, it has a tendency to keep me awake or wake me pretty often, property is still worth 5 stars but I hope in the future they make the change. We will probably still be back whenever possible, thank you Tucker Lodge."
"The location was great, beautiful setting and staff was extremely friendly. Unfortunately we weren’t able to sit outside and just enjoy the view as we had planned but that was only due to weather being super windy. The whole getaway was very relaxing."
"First time staying at an inn and the equipment/supplies provided in the room were nice. There were towels, soap, a stove, a pot, fridge/freezer, microwave, utensils, coffee machine and cups, A/C, and wifi. Texting staff was easy and fast responses during operating hours.
Only thing our room didn’t have that would have been nice is a hair dryer (might have been able to request).
Food option right across the street (long wait/cook time) or a few minutes away at the popular Julian area.
Parking was nice, roomy, and right outside the room door.
Will be back in the future if staying overnight in Julian area."
"The space was amazing for my small family. The condo was clean and in a convenient location. We arrived after the office was closed but their communication was fantastic and let me know that I could still get into the property and it was so simple."
"I had read a few reviews describing this hotel as dated, but that could not have been further from our experience.
We stay in a wide variety of hotels, and this was, without question, one of the best. The property was exceptionally clean, fresh, and spacious. The staff were warm, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The complimentary evening happy hour reception was generous and a lovely touch.
Our room was exceptional and included a small balcony, which we really enjoyed.
Highly recommended!
The only area for improvement was the pool and hot tub. Around 10:30 p.m., the hot tub was dominated by one guest who was talking loudly the entire time, making it difficult for others to enjoy. The pool water also appeared somewhat cloudy after a full day of use. It might be helpful to have staff periodically check the pool water in the evening to ensure it remains clean and inviting."
