"Apart from them forgetting to pick us up on the FREE hotel bus shuttle back and forth from the hotel and Porta Nuova, (but they did come quickly when I called them) and the safe in the room did not work as it required a new battery......I have nothing but pretty much EXCELLENCE to say on this hotel.
When I walked into my room, I thought I must be it's first guest as it was so pristine and beautifully prepared with everything seeming so new. Thank you, and I commend the hotel for this.
The breakfast buffet was more than adequate, and with a good choice. The staff I encountered were extremely polite and helpful. Car parking was free and protected. Some of the outside areas required attention, hence only my 'good' comment, it appeared a little chaotic and unkept in places, but this is a small point.....it must be difficult to maintain such a building with various stairways, corridors and levels appearing to lead all over the place? Children must find it quite an adventure!
