Avoid if possible

Poor standard of accommodation, no electricity on first or second floors, no heating apart from Ground floor Left after 15 minutes to find alternative hotel.

Wonderful experience in a beautiful chateau that has lived through many centuries and whose history reflects it. I stayed just one night in the B&B on a long drive back to my home and loved my stay. The owners are lovely people who recently bought the property and are working to restore it to its original beauty. The castle has kept all the furniture and art from the previous century so you really feel like you are going back in time. They have added bathrooms in each of the bedrooms which historically had none. In true old chateau form there is no electricity at night in the upper floors, the owner provides you with a little lamp for your evening which really makes the experience unique. The owners also went above and beyond, giving me a tour of the beautiful property and describing the history of the different rooms and grounds. Overall highly recommended!!
