Not the fault of the hotel, but the area it is within is protected from motor traffic by pop-up barricades that take help to retract... extremely confusing for tourists. The hotel tries hard to give the procedures to guests, but unfortunately Expedia completely glosses this over, leaving you stuck and confused in a one-way street. "This guest house provided a wonderful stay - an elegant large room, top-class bed linen, peaceful, parking in grounds, friendly hostess. For the same price as a budget hotel it offers a different and superior experience. The hosts provide many thoughtful touches like home made yoghurt and jams at breakfast. "Hotel is close walking distance to the centre and restaurants. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Bedroom was large, well maintained and very comfortable. Separate toilet which is handy, but you have to then go into the bathroom to wash your hands. Bathroom was a good size, clean, with enough towels but the shower isn’t very efficient as the angle it is set on the wall, doesn’t allow for the water to rain down on you, otherwise everything was very good."

"One of our best stays ever. Mgr Florien picked us up when we could not find the house. Carried our bags upstairs. We got an upgrade to the best room. It was sensational! Booked & recommended a restaurant in Carassonne. An incredible breakfast (11 diff French cheeses!). Incredibly helpful with local knowledge. A chateau size property; lawns, pool. A beautfilly restored chapel. We HAVE to come back. Six stars!!"
