"I arrived a day early due to my own mixup with travel dates from the UK. Staff at reception were super friendly and helpful the hotel was full I’m not sure how but they managed to accommodate me after a few internal conversations. "I was quite disappointed with this hotel. Sure, the view is stunning, and the staff is kind (as you would expect in Brazil). But the hotel is in need of an update, the walls, bathtub, chairs and bed have seen better days. The rooms are quite run down, to the point that we did not even feel like using the jacuzzi in our suite. The window was broken, and there was plenty of bugs in our room as well as shedded scorpion exosceleton. And, perhaps worst of all, the toilet was not flushed when we...

"Everything was great except the shower. It changes temperature every 10 seconds making it almost impossible to have a nice shower. The beach club is really good!"

"Overall a good experience. Breakfast was just above average as was the room. Hot water was lacking, but the view made up for many of the deficiencies. Spectacular. Pedro was a great host, but some other staff were less than friendly. Parking very convenient and walkability to Buzios centro and Joao Fernandes beach was good. Pool was very pleasant."

"My family and I stayed for 5 nights over the Easter weekend and had a fabulous time. The hotel was clean, modern, and tastefully decorated, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Its location is great, just a few minutes' walk from a nearby beach. The facilities for kids were also fantastic, featuring a large, staffed kids' club. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment room complete with kitchen."
