"A typical remodeled property formerly part of a larger chain. The paint was new and fresh. The carpet had been replaced with nice looking hardwood flooring. Those are the good points. The plumbing showed it's obvious age. Paint was peeling in the corners over the tub. The shower head was pretty disgusting and didn't work well. The hair dryer didn't work at all. The remote control didn't work at first, but the front desk clerk came to our room and solved the problem - something about the DirecTV box sensor's placement. The window curtain had one or more damaged or missing hangers and would not fully close. All in all, it is a property with insufficient upkeep. But the price is good, so if a few minor problems don't bother you, go for it!"
"We have stayed in these cabins many times. We love the location to dam 3 for fishing. Cabins are old but clean. There are several things that needs to be repaired on these old cabins. For the price and location we will be back many more times"
"When you first walk into the hotel it smells and tastes lime stale cigarette smoke. My non smoking room smelt the same in the room as it did out in hallway and when you walk into the lobby. Secondly the bedspread had either cigarette burns or tears on the top and not sure if they were clean.could not tell everything smelt like stale cigarettes. Breakfast consisted of two chocalte muffins for 6 people, 2 kids of cereal with wwrm milk, biscuits soggy from heating up in microwave, but the gravy frplm can was good, jjusr old"
"There was no one there at 3:00 pm to check us in. We arrived at 2:45 and was told it would be an hour and a half before check in. He told me to apply for a refund and there would be no problem.
Now I've been told by someone else that we were there before 3, so tough luck and no refunds. This is a terrible place, Dumpy and there were only construction workers staying there. I tried to give business to an older property with local owners, NEVER AGAIN. This place steals your money."
