The use of a guest lounge with tea, coffee and water was a bonus, although provisions hadn’t been topped up, nor the area tidied when we used it in the evening. More Choice of games would have been nice, too. Given the spectacular and unique location, the grounds appeared very neglected, apart from around the restaurant area. Very expensive for what...

"Wonderful stay for the summer with river views and amazing terrace. So many peaceful places to sit and watch the river in the grounds. The rooms were lovely - spacious, big bed and bathrooms and the extra amenities were very appreciated. Its a stunning setting for a summer break."

"No air-conditioning, dead flys in room on floor and window sills in stairway and room. Room tiny and was ridiculously hot. Stains on carpet, pillowcase and towels. The cold water tap did not work on sink or in shower. Honestly one of the worst stays of my life."

"2 day stay . Very bad smelling room even after 2 days with window open. Its clearly been lived in by a smoker and a sock was still covering the smoke detector. Really uncumfortabke beds and dirty stained sheets and matress. No lamps no cups, spoon or coffee. Even had to tune the telly myself. Very strange types walking around the corridors would not recomend. Staff were nice enough when i spoke to them. Im not the complaining type so just loughed if off as a bad experience never to be repeated....
