"We booked À la Mainguère at quite short notice, for a quiet night before catching our ferry back to England the next day. Well I have to say, that after one night, we want to book again and for longer! What a fabulous place to stay and with just perfect hosts too. The attention to detail in all areas from greeting us, the presentation of the rooms, to a fabulous breakfast. Thank you so much. Hospitality at its best. "

"lovely place in the quiet countryside. only 10-15mins drive to the nearest town for restaurants, shops etc.. Perfect if you want to stay away from the traffic/town noise. I was only 30mins drive from Rennes which was perfect. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and their food is excellent. "

"We had an overnight stop at this property on our way back to the ferry. Our stay was very pleasant and the hosts were very friendly. The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."

"Mitten in einem großen Schlosspark liegt dieses wunderschöne Schloss. Es wurde innen aufwändig und liebevoll restauriert mit wunderschönen Tapeten und Wandbespannungen im Zimmer. Der Schlossherr hat uns selbst durch alle Räume geführt, die man auch bewohnen durfte. Das Ambiente war wirklich einzigartig !"
