Bragdavellir Cottages

"We loved this stay, one of our favourites from the trip. While the bathroom is a bit small, the cottage itself is large and private. The accommodation is clean with a well-equipped kitchenette. Only critique is the beds are a little uncomfortable and the wifi was quite unreliable (essentially unusable). The views and location were so great we didn't find ourselves needing the wifi anyway. The restaurant on site was also closed for the winter and there isn't much around for food, which is our fault for not checking, but be mindful of this if you're staying here!"

"Nice restaurant on property. Very charming. Rooms are basic as far a furniture and bedding, and cabin has a full kitchen with everything you need. No tv in bedroom but there is one in living space. Only downside for some may be that you have to carry your bags up the path to the cabin as the path is too rough."

"The place is nice and secluded, which we love. It has quiet, beautiful surroundings. Our favorite part was that our host Siggi took time to visit with us and explain some details about Iceland we had been wondering about. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"Barrel very spacious and clean ; bed super comfortable . Late check in (midnight ) but someone was available to talk through check in instructions and directions ; keys in barrel and bathrooms / showers were tricky , only complaint . Showers and bathrooms very clean and private , hot water , enough restrooms and showers for all guests so that wasn’t an issue . Would stay again."
