Superb stay

Everything about my stay was really excellent. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Very clean room and communal areas. Friendly host gave just right amount of detail at check-in.

All you would wish for a B&B

The Blantyre has everything you would wish for in a B&B: very comfortable room and breakfast area, and excellent quality of food. Lots of little unexpected extras, plus discounts and entry into tourist attractions. A very friendly place within sight of the sea front and a few steps from the Spa and beach. Within a few minutes there are lots of places to eat, especially excellent fish and chips! Don't go to any attraction or restaurant without asking Gina or Dave whether there is a discount or entry card available - it could save you a lot of money. Just a tip regarding parking: there is plenty on-street parking available, which is restricted to the "locals" - you will be provided with a parking label so you can park without restriction. The tip is that, as we arrived late on a Saturday when a big show was on at the Spa, there wasn't as much space as usual - still didn't have a problem parking. If we come back to Brid, we'll certainly aim for the Blantyre.

Welcoming and friendly hosts. I’d booked a single room and was delighted to be upgraded to a lovely seaview double. Spotlessly clean and my breakfast cooked exactly as I’d asked for. I’ve been to several b&b’s in the area and can say without doubt this is one of the best and will definitely return.
