"Large clean room with crisp sheets on the bed. Both the bed and the pillows were too firm, resulting in limited sleep I was convinced that continental breakfast was included when I booked the room. However the Expedia booking did not state that ,nor did the information sent to the Porters Lodge. The charge was though only £5 pp."

"Loved old inn. Staff went over and above to be helpful,dog even had sausage gor breakfast. I found out no lift Expedia said couldn't ca cel without losing my money,when I told them this they said not a problem they would have returned it,again thanks for nothing Expedia. Staff so helpful and helped to get up to bed. Food was to die for had evening meal,lovely fresh cooked menu and breakfast again fabulous. Would recommend and would go again in spite of no lift!"

"We arrived after 10pm the hotel were very helpful in leaving us a message on where to collect our room key from, the room was big and clean, bathroom was good too, we had an enjoyable breakfast too, very friendly & helpful staff."

They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. "The twin room i booked was clean and presentable and fitted our needs perfectly. Breakfast in the morning was good and there was a menu to choose from so you choose your own variation of breakfast. Staff were helpful, friendly and polite, overall, even though we only stayed one night, as we were attending a family wedding nearby, i would have no hesitation on staying here again."

"We booked the Dinney B&B due to its close proximity to the Astbury Golf Resort, where we were attending a wedding reception. We visited the Dinney early, to work out the logistics and chanced to meet Keith the owner. He allowed us to drop our bags in our room, gave us our keys and assured us that we could leave our car at the Astbury, walk back and he'd sort a lift back the next day - now that's excellent customer service! The room was comfortable and clean, with a good ensuite shower room....

"It is a comfortable hotel with a slightly old fashioned feel, but it is a historic building and the staff are cheerful and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the heavy curtains to cut out the sunlight. The stairs to the second floor were a bit tricky for an older guest when carrying luggage, although staff would have helped. I would certainly return."

"The property was ideal for a base to visit the surrounding area. Our bedroom and the property generally was clean and tidy. The owner and staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was fine but the 'help yourself' fruit in the dining area was not fresh. Parking could be an issue near the hotel but our disability parking permit helped."
