Copper Point Resort

"We love Copper Point because it's a lovely resort that is not only pet friendly but has a variety of rooms for large family stays. There is ample parking and space for everyone. We also appreciate the indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub options so you can take a dip or soak no matter what the weather. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have everything you need. Check in and check out are easy, staff are very nice. The hotel restaurant is delicious, albeit sometimes slow. Our major qualm is that the rooms are not sound proofed well and we have had some nights of major disruption - this visit in the 2 bedroom suite was a bit better, the room is further from the hall so not as much noise. Unfortunately every morning the cleaners would flip the security latch to keep the doors unlocked and slam the doors in the neighbouring rooms while they go in and out to clean early in the morning while cleaning and it woke us up almost every day. The other 2 critiques I have are that the dishwasher in our suite smelled strongly of mold and that the second outdoor hot tub has seemingly been out of commission for 2+ years even though it still advertises outdoor "hot tubs""

"Staff was amazing, pool cold and not recommended for younger kids, ac/heater made horrible noises.. loud as people and there kids yelling up and down hallways. Restaurant on site was way over priced food was not good or cooked right. But staff was amazing very kind and welcoming. "

"For our purposes, this place was fine for a quick overnight with our bikes- but rooms are quite small and the bed was not comfortable. On the run-down side of things when it could be very cute if they only kept it up better."

"Room was outdated and not very well maintained. The kitchenette facilities in the room were very poor. There was no toaster (as advertised), the kettle was melted (so I deemed it unsafe to use), there was only 1 small bread plate and 2 small bowls, all of which were dirty. There was a sign asking you to clean your dishes but no dish soap or towel to dry them was provided, which might explain why they weren't clean.The only light source in the kitchen area was a small under-cupboard light. Overall I rate this hotel 2 stars and that is because the bed was comfortable, the staff member I dealt with was as helpful as she could be, and it has great views from the balcony."

"Ample parking, room was good size. Fridge/microwave/sink nice feature. Had a mini dining table and armchair to relax in. Common area had stove and DIY breakfast included. Simple toast, cheese and ham, cereal and coffee was convenient."
