"We had a lovely room with lake views and near the main lodge. It was very tranquil to sit on the balcony overlooking the lake with a coffee. Food and service at dinner were both great. The lake is breathtakingly beautiful and it was lovely to wander with no day tourists. Canoeing on the lake was a great experience and much cheaper than at nearby Lake Louise. "

"Great service, comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast is alright as well, although it was not as good as it was during our stay in August. My son enjoyed fresh chocolate chip cookies in the lobby and hot chocolate from the machine. "

"A very rustic but beautiful property that was the highlight of our trip. Wish we could have stayed another night. The rooms are all tastefully decorated. Definitely a change from your normal run of the mill hotel room. Loved the verandah seating outside our room with a view of the property and mountains. Our kids enjoyed visiting the very friendly horses on the property and feeding them apples off the trees! You can walk to Rivershore Golf Course right next door. "
