"Adequate hotel if you’re just passing through. The hotel is very old and needs to be updated, but it was clean overall and the beds were comfortable. They don’t allow smoking on the property, but this is a place that had smokers within it for years, so there is still a stench of smoke. Breakfast was good. The morning hotel manager was very friendly."

"We loved the Chester Beatty Inn - the room was beautifully appointed, food in restaurant was delicious as was breakfast ! The staff was extremely warm and welcoming. "

"Room dreadful with view of roof, no housekeeping coffee and tea making facilities not replenished. Staff were fantastic, Breakfast was brilliant, Bar is jaded looking. Handles on men’s toilet door need to be replaced as the cannot be cleaned properly as they are coroded. Would not stay there again it’s very remote and the roads are dangerous."

Would highly recommend the hotel. The reception staff were charming and helpful, especially the evening reception staff."
