"This is our second stay at The Code. Despite ongoing construction in several of the units, we have really enjoyed staying here. The location is great (close to where our daughter lives and other awesome venues/restaurants, etc), the staff is super friendly and accommodating, the units are very nice, comfortable beds, and well stocked with everything you need. We have enjoyed the pool each time we have stayed. It would be nice if they had a few more umbrellas over the other sitting/lounge areas...

"Well the room wasn't very clean, there was a baby pacifier under the bed, also the pull out bed was horrible!! Also we booked it specifically for the pool & when we got there the lady was like oh I'm sorry, the pool is under construction. Also it took about 30 minutes or more for her to check me in, cuz she couldn't find my reservation when I had my receipt on my phone. So the whole trip was blah...."

"Remodeled rooms are excellent! The fitness center was closed because they stored mattresses there, the pool was full of bugs because it was not scammed/cleaned regularly. We were a little disappointed because the breakfast area was being remodeled, and there was only grab and go available, we typically enjoy the full breakfast when we stay there. The only challenge with our room was the door knob on the inside of the room came off the day we were leaving, but we contacted one of the repair...

"This had to be the worst hotel/motel I had ever stayed at. We had a pipe burst in our home and needed somewhere to stay for a couple of days. The outside of the building just looks sad, it hasn't been maintained. The front desk staff was wonderful! The room was not. The floors were sticky, it was clear that nothing had been cleaned. The tables had some kind of substance on them and the mirrors both had not been cleaned. I had two rooms, one for me and one for my adult children. Their room reeked...

"The staff were consummate professionals- on top of their game and without pretension. The property was the same- clean and modern, while simultaneously warm and inviting. A chic version of an Austin oasis on a campus of oaks in the heart of South Austin. The totality of the experience outshines any tiny nitpicks (as an example: a beautiful armoire that contains the TV and mini-bar/fridge took up a lot of space in a tidy room) and it was easily a five-star experience. Can't wait to go back."

"The theme of the motel is fun. It has not been modernized much in the way of air conditioning. It still uses one of the old units, so it has to be given some time to cool the room. The bed frames are on theme but were a little low to the floor and made getting out of bed a little difficult. The fridge was also stocked with drinks and alcohols, so it wasn’t very useable for storing things that we needed to. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but some things could’ve been slightly better."

"After some initial issues with cockroaches in our room we were promptly relocated to a new room on an upper floor by the helpful staff. Internet also suffered some problems due to heavy rain, but that resolved, still found it relatively slow for remote business work though fine for e-mails. Free breakfast was good with nice variety and enjoyed the Texas shaped waffles, location was good for our needs but was a little put off by being charged nightly parking fee given there was plenty of...
