"It’s a lovely location, aspects of the property are nice, the free car parking was good and the staff were very helpful and quick to respond to queries. The room was nice in terms of having a sitting area and then a bedroom and on suite. However, the property needs to be updated and the cleaning also needs to be more frequent. "The staff are lovely, and the property and gardens are beautiful (although they’re not quite as new or updated as the photos make it seem). It’s more of a charming quiet calm hotel in the countryside. My only issue was that the carpet had tons of large stains on it, which was rather gross and I’d expect a hotel to have a vacuum cleaner that can take stains out of the carpet. "I was so pleased when I arrived at the Old Mill Inn. Travelling on my own caused a few issues like taking a taxi from the train station took almost twice as long because of the road construction. What a picturesque place! All was great except for the heat wave. The ladies at the desk were suffering with that fan."
