"Very nice room. Parking directly in front of my room. Furnishings well appointed. Fridge actually has a dedicated freezer which is very helpful! Room recently painted. Door could use paint. Area very quite. Ice machine was not working. There are lights outside the door which kept my motorcycle well lite however at 5am they were off which made it hard to see and pack. Parking lot could be swept of gravel as it was a challenge to park my 900 lb bike. But after two tries it was ok. Lots of parking stalls are flat. I'd stay here again!"

"The room was excellent and the bed was comfortable. We did pay extra because other guests said they had a great breakfast--but the hotel site gave no details. Unfortunately, they had zero gluten-free options. No bacon, no sausage (except in gravy with biscuits), not even boiled eggs. Please know this before you book the room based on the free breakfast. The site should be clear that the free breakfast is NOT gluten-free."

"This was a last minute stay I took a chance hoping for the best. It was kinda hard to get to the entrance with out missing it at least once. I was greeted so nicely I believe was the owner. This was a super nice place to stay and with my dog u usually get the not so nice room u know that one that just stinks of dog urine not here, the room was very nice and had carpet. I'm a dog owner my dog goes with me everywhere So getting nice rooms is unheard of really. I would highly recommend the lone star to anybody and everybody I will be staying here again on my way to mississippi and back to colorado in 3months thanks for the very needed very rested night see you again in 3 months"

"The room was clean and presentable. At first the A/C was running so the room felt humid. However, it was comfortable enough for us to relax and sleep well. Bathroom was clean with enough towels. The only thing I would suggest I would add more variety to the breakfast and have the juice dispenser ready. Other than that, the stay was good."
