"Beautiful old building and friendly welcome. Staff really helpful and room was spacious with lovely decor and a stunning view across the city and the valley. Peaceful location a mile out of the main centre of Bath, up a hill, but easily reached by regular bus service if arriving by train."
"Room was not clean on arrival with Malteser and popcorn wrappers in draw. Mirrors not clean on sliding wardrobe and bathroom needed to be cleaned around toilet room, with a constant tap drip! Staff were excellent when approached! The ladies in the Spa were all very good as well as the bar staff!"
"The hotel was small, which we really liked, and our room was located in a separate building just a few doors down from the main reception and breakfast area.
The room itself was enormous and featured two chandeliers, which complemented the character and style of the space beautifully. Owing to the recent warm weather, the room was very hot, but thankfully a fan was provided, which was an absolute lifesaver.
Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, with an excellent selection that included continental options, a full cooked breakfast, eggs Benedict and eggs Royale. Everything was freshly prepared to order.
I believe there was a small on-site car park available for an additional charge, but it was full when we arrived. Reception directed us to the nearby Podium multi-storey car park, which, at the time of our stay, cost £18 per day and represented good value.
We would definitely stay here again."
"Great room with best appliances and very clean. Staff are extremely helpful and the WhatsApp messaging works really well and avoids having to go to reception with every query. The rooms could benefit from built in air conditioning, however we were provided with a portable one immediately on request. The restaurant offers good food but not a huge selection and the service is very slow for both dinner and breakfast. The spa area is great with both an outdoor regular pool plus a heated pool with jacuzzi jets. Although the hotel is open to families the hotel is very much geared to adults and pets are welcome. A very good hotel with lots going for it would definitely recommend for a short relaxing break"
"Nice quiet hotel near the station so quite handy. Lots to do within walkable distance. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Only downer was the elevator that was out of order."
"I was so pleased when I arrived at the Old Mill Inn. Travelling on my own caused a few issues like taking a taxi from the train station took almost twice as long because of the road construction. What a picturesque place!
All was great except for the heat wave. The ladies at the desk were suffering with that fan."
"This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! What a delight! The bath prioriy is Charming
s, beautiful, well appointed, and has really very helpful and kind staff.
I will be kind and not tell you the hotel I was originally in, but it was horrible. The bath priorit is fantastic! The Spa was an added benefit as are the beautiful gardens!
Thank you, Dylan and team. What a great stay."
