San Giorgio Palace Hotel

"This hotel was beautiful. Everything about it was five-star. We were greeted by the desk clerk who arranged for our luggage to be brought up. The rooms were great and access to Regusa Ilba was easy-breezy. 2 minute walk into the main square. Breakfast was very nice and the outdoor patio was very nice as well. We would highly recommend this hotel and Ragusa Ilba."

Terre di Romanello Relais in Val di Noto

"We had a good stay at Terre di Romanello. On arrival there was a mix-up with the room we had been allocated, but this was promptly resolved by the staff at reception. We booked the apartment and the views from our private balcony were wonderful. The apartment did give us lots of space, however, we were disappointed to find that although the apartment had a full kitchen, we were only able to use the fridge as there was no cutlery, crockery, pans, or any tableware for us to use. There was a kettle and two mugs, two small glasses and two plastic wine glasses only, plus two tiny bamboo spoons! The hotel is remote and you would definitely need a car to get around. The breakfasts were good with plenty of choice and there was the opportunity to sit inside or outside. The outside seating was on the grass in the garden area behind the restaurant, tables outside were plastic and on slightly uneven ground, we sat inside for the air conditioning. The restaurant room was small with sitting for 16 people on tables for 2 or 4, there were a further two tables in a corridor on the way to the garden area, each seating 2. Service was good. The menu choice was limited as this is a small hotel and we were surprised how high-end it was. In fact for us this was a negative for us, as we had wanted to enjoy something more authentic and Sicilian and perhaps rustic in style and presentation. The beds were large and very comfortable, due to the warm weather we happily slept under a sheet."

"I stayed in Badiula for a week and had such an amazing experience. The room we had was like a condo with 2 floors for 4 people. Beds were extremely comfortable and room was spacious. The pools were amazing. I also got massages done and they were great. Shoutout to wait staff and reception because they were so welcoming. Food at restaurant was great."

"Absolutely loved the place. Everyone was over the top helpful & kind, ensuring that we had a great experience. The only thing that threw us was a $100. Fee per person that was explained to us as facility fees for the pool & beach. We were fine with the fee but later we were told that the pool was for children only. We were not happy about that as there were days when we would have preferred hanging at the pool rather than the beach. We dealt with the situation but it was a pretty expensive fee for beach use only. Overall we just thought the place was great & would recommend it."
