"We visited during a heatwave. Hotel only 2 minutes from a beautiful sandy beaches. Went there every morning and evenings during our two nights stay. It is a traditional Scottish hotel so unfortunately did not have air-conditioning, but we didn't expect to have that, and it did not effect our enjoyment. Room was well equipped, with coffee pods etc, and kettle. Large 42 inch tv. Staff very friendly. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. The meals were excellent, however I’d recommend that you book your time of eating in advance of staying at the hotel because the week end was very busy and we didn’t get served our meal the Saturday night until after 8 pm."

"What an absolutely beautiful place! We loved our room; it had so much character. We appreciated the kettle and coffee/tea in the room, the included breakfast; the restaurant on site, the wifi and the available parking. The grounds are also beautiful; you can sit at the tables along the river and admire the castle-like building. I wish we could have stayed longer. "
