"Five stars! With a property circa 1830 (so much charm), I didn’t expect such a quiet luxe experience—great bed, pillows, and linens, soft robes, perfect in-room coffee service, convenient for plugging in all your modern technology, well thought-out lighting, very tasteful decor (in keeping with the history of the place, but elegant, well thought-out, and uncluttered) and super clean. Totally charming and comfortable. The breakfast was terrific and inviting — and the touches of elegance and design extended to the serveware and freshly cut and arranged wildflowers on the tables. Finally, the staff was beyond reproach. So welcoming, friendly, and at the ready to help with anything. I was so pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. We stayed in the Monticello room which was on the small side but perfectly serviceable. We stayed at the Inn because we were visiting Pippin Winery (for a second time) for lunch—which is a must if you’re in the area. The food is inventive and delicious, the setting is picture perfect, the service is friendly and approachable, and the wines blew me away—IMHO better by a country mile than what was on offer at Barboursville, Chiswell Farms, or Afton vineyards. Highly recommend!"

"The room and staff are very nice! The cleaning lady and staff are very helpful and nice! My grandson was there for work for his first grown man job! They told him that if he needed anything let them know! Definitely recommend a good place to stay! And the AC will freeze you out of the room!"

"This was an awesome find while we were on the road and booking a stay within Virginia Wine Country. The B&B owners were super friendly and were great in providing insight into were to go nearby. Our room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The property has great views and has its own charming vineyard, which is used to produce their own wines.. A complimentary wine tasting was provided and wines by the bottle were available for purchase. Breakfast was top notch and they were very accommodating in trying to meet everyone's dietary needs. We will definitely be back again on a future visit as we continue to explore more of Virginia's Wine Country."
