Excellent location on the riverfront, the cultural route and near an excellent restaurant. Superb pool. Good views from first floor room of both pool and river. But a teeny tiny room and small double bed. No fridge in room. Cheap toiletries in sachets. Breakfast poor. Coffees urn buried in an inaccessible corner and hot water and milk in tiny flasks. Cold. Waitress got cross when I took top off flasks to drain last dregs. Poor choice of breakfast. Poor quality juice and yoghurt. Fruit - only oranges and applies and no fruit salad. No granola. Stale croissants( medialunes) and dried cakes. Reception staff offered us a bigger room after one night but as stay was only 2 days we didn’t want to pack dnd unpack again just before out flight. For what we paid this was exceptionally poor value, but it was a nice location!

Zimmer etwas klein, aber sehr zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Frühstücksraum war nett, Frühstück OK. Pool haben wir nicht genutzt. Nettes Personal. Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Lage sehr gut.

Excellent stay—highly recommended
Our stay at Hotel Rio Tigre was excellent. The staff was warm and kind. They even helped us coordinate getting our clothes washed. The breakfast was lovely and complete. The hotel has a lot of character, being in a historic building, but was very clean well decorated. It was perfect for our family of 5!
