"Room was dirty and the breakfast was not good at all "

"The bathroom was beautiful, but the shower water was lukewarm at best. The TV was beautiful, but it had no local channels to watch sports or connect to the area. Why do you have to call the front desk to get ice? There was no way to adjust the room temperature; it was set and locked at 71 degrees. The promised "breakfast coupon" I received in a text never materialized at check-in, and the selections for "breakfast" were premade sandwiches with no accommodations for allergies. The Campus is SMOKE FREE. For those who do not smoke, this is not a concern, but there was not even a designated smoking area outside for those who have the choice to do so. This experience was far from luxurious and felt more like a one-size-fits-all. Perhaps this company should stick to fine cuisine and overpriced spa packages for a romantic getaway. For a weary traveler who just wanted to relax after a long week, I will not stay here again. "

"The staff at this location is probably the best I have seen in a long time. From the front desk to the valet. Everyone is on the same page and treats you like you are wanted. Second time staying and it has been great both times. Good job staff"

"Check in Stall at Desk was very friendly & accommodating. Especially a staff member named Mike. He allowed me early access & upgraded my room type at no charge. Great gentleman and very friendly. Door men/Porter staff extremely helpful. Allowed me store my personal effects at no charge prior to check in."

"The place is gorgeous but where do I begin? The service is well below the price. My room was clean bus musty smelling and freezing (would have been nice if they turned the heat on in advance considering it is Buffalo in winter). Only one person took orders at the restaurant and also only one person serving breakfast (and she was annoyed that I came down in the last 1/2 hour). No bell person to help at all. The lobby elevators are a big run-around with no one to help with your bags. The front entrance was littered with trash and had a chicken fence around it. There were bight construction lights shining through the windows. The receiver of the phone in my room was not charged so I could not answer the front desk when they called at 11am to let me know I had to check-out even though I asked for a late check out when I checked-in late the night before --and I was one of only 10 guests in the hotel… Overall I felt like a nuisance to the staff. The museum in the basement was very interesting but it feels the place is struggling financially and they are not going out of their way to make the guests happy. It would be shame if the hotel went broke."
