Grist Iron was a wonderful place to stay on Seneca Lake. The brewery was perfect: food delicious, hours perfect, staff very friendly. We definitely will be staying there again.

The property was wonderful! Clean, comfy bed. Clean, spacious bathroom attached to the room. Beautiful views out the pporch door in the room. Everything I wanted for a wonderful weekend! Oh and free breakfast, yummy!!!

Great Place To Stay On Seneca Lake

Large room, great location on Seneca Lake, really good breakfast included. I like that they threw in two free pints at the adjacent brewery. Nice touch.

I liked the fact that the bar/restaurant was on sight, all we had to do is walk over and the location is beautiful. What I didn't like is when we went to have dinner at 6:00 pm there wasn't one seat open. trying to eat dinner standing up is not cool. We were eventually directed to seats that opened up at the bar by the bar tender, She was very nice. The cost for the room was a high for the amenities. The room and bathroom were small. Oh and if you like coffee, bring your own (and filters).

We felt right at home!

Room was large. Bed was comfortable. Innkeeper Darlene was cheery and available 24/7. The beer and food (generous portions) onsite were amazing. Gorgeous, perfect place to sit, eat, and watch the sunset. They had live music and corn hole. Fun vibe with other guests at the fire pit. Breakfast is only on the weekend and was fairly basic. Coffee could have been better. Shower took a long time to heat up and pressure was low.

Most rooms are nice and big. Mapleview is smaller and has an odd smell. Good service with a nice inn keeper.
