"Good place"

"If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. "

"It is a beautiful location and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The owners need to invest some money into the buildings and transportation. It would not be my first pick. I stayed there for one night while waiting for my flight the following day."

"Cathy and Don were great hosts! The rooms were clean and Cathy even cooked dinner for the 7 of us after we arrived at 5:30 pm. There are restaurants within a 15-30 minute walk, but it was nice to sit down for a while after enjoying a type “A” vacation for the past 8 days! "Everything was lovely. From the beautiful property grounds to the customer service we received from Sheradon (I apologize if I butchered her name) upon our arrival. When I go back to Belize City, I will be staying at the Palms again. "

"The room was clean, air conditioning was cold and staff was great. It was a little hard to locate as it does not have a traditional lobby. The lobby is on the 2nd floor inside the Call center and casino tower. The lobby closes at a certain time and a number to call is posted, althought the staff is responsive."

"The rooms are small and minimalist but that's OK as they get everything else right. The rooms were spotless, the property was beautifully kept and the price of booking was affordable. The attached restaurant had excellent and affordable food, in fact we noticed that many of its patrons were locals. The location being 20 minutes from the airport was a nice added bonus. "

"I didn't like that the maid messed with my things on the counter.. but worse.. our suitcases!! Nobody should be touching our suitcases!! Wanted to enjoy the pool before we left.. FULL OF KIDS !! That were not staying there!!! Staff was great.. but so slow and only catered to my boyfriend and never asked what I wanted to drink.. "

"This hotel is located about 3-4 blocks from the main part of town (swinging bridge and Sprinter Ferries. The hotel worked fine once we figured out how the controller for the AC worked. We spent 3 nites there; 1 at the start and 2 at the end of out trip our 12 day trip to the cayes. Wondered around town, museums, etc. Not much going on in town. Tried to organize a SCUBA dive but that did not pan out as they always need a minimum of 4 people to go. Which is why we spent all our time out on the...

"What a lovely, magical, & peaceful place. We had a brief one night stay before taking ferry to San Pedro, but fell in love with the fresh & clean room, traditional style of the casitas, two sparkling, secluded pools, the lush grounds & truly exceptional dining at their Martha's Cafe across the street. We plan to return for longer visit. Thank you! "

"This condo feels like home. The furniture is comfortable. The kitchen has the necessities. The condo is gated in a quiet neighborhood. The pool is gorgeous and perfectly maintained. The outdoor deck is set up for dining and sunning with table, bar, and lounge chairs. The mango tree adjacent to the deck area is heavy with fruit, but it is still to early to enjoy. The condo’s host is responsive and helpful. I couldn’t ask for a better home away from home!"

"I had such a wonderful stay and experience at this cozy little place. It was close to the water taxi, small street vendors and great restaurants. Debra and staff went above and beyond.
