Craig's Royal Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We were moved to a ground floor courtyard room with spa so that my aging husband could manage access as the lift to upper floors was apparently out of order. We enjoyed the courtyard room and two quiet very comfortable nights. Only gripe would be the standard of kettle in the room which had to be replaced as the handle at the top burnt my hand. The replacement then had a cord which could not reach the nearest electric point so had to be put on the carpet near the entrance to be used. Not ideal either! We enjoyed the lounge and cafe areas and the dining room for dinner. One item on the specials menu for dinner turned out not to be available. Seafood orders need to be checked more vigorously, I suspect. As interstate visitors we enjoyed staying in Craig's Royal Hotel and may visit again. Thank you for all staff members for their care and attention."

"Had a great stay. Will stay again. I chose a room with a bath and was delighted to see it was one of those tubs with a couple of steps inside to be able to sit, lay and stretch out. Sadly, my 'do not disturb' sign was missing, so I was woken earlier than I'd have liked on a Sunday - but in the scheme of things that is a small gripe in an otherwise lovely stay."
