"Firstly, let me explain that I am very particular about places that I would stay. Cleanliness has to be of the utmost importance. I don’t like bugs in my room. Bugs generally tell you that the place you are staying, possibly is not as clean as it appears. My experience at this location was number one. It was not extremely clean and we did have experiences with bugs in the room so if that concerns you, I probably would say this is not your cup of tea. The food was somewhat limited as far as the menu is concerned. When it was on a non-menu and a buffet basis in the morning, the buffet was not always kept fresh as we all expect our meals to be. Overall, I believe the staff could be and should be trained better to give better service and make their stay more memorable. I started by first coming to a hole and stain in the Bellevue resort. The Bellevue resort is owned by a Chinese family, who obviously likes to cater to people who like cleanliness, a hospitable staff and wonderful amenities. This is what I am comparing this resort to which I would not consider a resort so my standards are going to be much higher. However, there is one thing that I did really enjoy from this location is the panoramic view for being up on top of the hill. This was supposed to be a very memorable experience as I was getting engaged over this time. In which we actually went and got a room on the engagement night at the location that we first stayed back in December. This was the Belmont resort resort. "

"This is one of the most unique and amazing places I’ve ever stayed! Everything is hand made and so well thought out, each cozy corner blending seamlessly into a larger piece of art. There are so many inviting places to relax, from the oceanview restaurant set on a cliff, to the many garden spaces, art displays and beautiful pool area. Admire orchids and many other tropical flowers growing all over the property. Relax on unique organically designed couches hand made on site. Enjoy a massage or body treatment while listening to the waves crashing below. Shop for unique hand crafted souvenirs all created here. Enjoy a daily dose of delicious coconut based ice cream. Choose from a delectable menu of dishes using fresh local ingredients grown in their organic garden. This is not just a beautiful place to stay, it is one that is sensitive to supporting the local community, caring for animals and kind to nature. Staying here is a treat for all your senses!"

"Room has everything you need, safe, desk, a place to store your luggage. Air con worked, beds were comfy and the onsite cafe was great. "

"The service was excellent. The room was very nice and clean. Beautiful view and the pool was perfect size to just get wet and cool off. The restaurant was excellent as was the food.. The property is quite far from most things but is very quiet and peaceful.. please be aware there is no beach front. The resort is on a cliff. You will need to take transport to the beaches near by at other resorts. Things I would take note of that would have made me give 5 stars. 1. Any needs you have using a driver there is a service fee. I did not mind paying for the service as it was excellent. However it was not made clear that there was a service fee for any transport needs you may have during your stay. It was offered at every turn that our driver can take you wherever you need to go. But no mention of a fee much less how much the fee would be. How is the fee calculated? 2. The sun is very strong in the first half of the day, making the restaurant not very comfortable to sit and eat in.. maybe some blinds or sheer curtains as you have in the room to cut down on the blinding light. 3. The private pool is not so private as you can see them from the restaurant with no problem. Extending the tarps that are currently hung above the patio/pool area would ensure that you are not swimming with anyone from above looking down on you.. as the vibe is a couples resort.. Thank you Ariel, Stanley, JR and the staff you are all wonderful at your jobs. It is all of you that made our stay wonderful."
