"Everything about this property was breath taking from the start tell the end can’t wait to come back again"

"All rooms have their own onsen, I can enjoy onsen with privacy at any time. It’s very convenient. It’s a very comfortable hotel. The staff are very nice and helpful. Personally, I love Japanese meal, so if they can provide a traditional Japanese breakfast, it would be great."

"Hotel is an older facility, so our Japanese style room had a little musty odor and facilities were a little dated. Service staff at front desk and restaurants were fantastic. We had a half board plan; the sukiyaki dinner was OK and breakfast was excellent."

"Super hospitality despite the language barrier, a very charming small inn. Only a few minutes from the train station, and an easy walk to the center as well. Lots of small, nice touches and a fully equipped kitchen for guests. "

"If you are travelling to Yufuin, Hotel MODA is a must stay. This hotel is immaculate, with attentive staff. I definitely recommend adding the dinner at the hotel to your stay, it was one of the best meals that we had in Japan and the outdoor private Onsen was amazing!"

"Very clean, very kind and kaiseki was really good. Free shuttle was also good. I'll visit here once again"

"Dinner and Breakfast are much better than the other well-established ryokans in Yufuin."

"Staff in property were very friendly and helpful. The property also has a private Onsen and has a very nice view of Mount Yufu."

"Good place to stay."

"Very spacious room and private (shared) onsen."

"Cozy, clean & spacious room with a mini onsen. Pre-check in is advisable. 5 minute walk to Kirin Lake where beautiful scenery & cafes around. 10 minute walk to Yufuin Floral Village & shopping streets. "

"Room was huge as with Ryokan style accommodation and generally clean, What great is the reservation system for onsen so you can have a private slot for yourself/family instead of the usually gender sharing arrangement. It is about 10-15 minutes walk to Yunotsubo Kaido and 5 minutes to the train station and Aeon supermart. Unlike some osen town eg. Hakone, there is plenty of food option at night."

"A great little hidden gem in this area - we stayed here as a stopover to our next location. Room was clean and super cozy. Staff was very nice and helpful with us settling in. Location is very quaint and I loved all the statues decorating the place. The bath was super nice! Would recommend staying here and getting the dinner & breakfast experience - the food smelt so good! "Nice and helpful staff, near lake and shopping, quiet "

"古民家でリフォームされてて　素敵な家でした　脱衣場のライトの傘にホコリが積もってて残念でした　お皿など洗った時拭く物がなく困りました　キッチンペーパーがあったら良かったです　ベットの寝心地は良く　ゆっくり過ごせました"

"객실도 깨끗하고, 직원들도 매우 친절. 다만, 아침식사를 제공했으면 좋겠습니다. "
